How to Dress

Posted by Nicola Kearney on

Fashion is a form of self-expression and a way to showcase your personality to the world. As women, we are constantly bombarded with messages about how we should look and dress. But the only rule we should adhere to is to choose clothes that make you feel comfortable, confident and reflect your unique style, so we thought we'd share some styling tips for all body types and ages.

One of the most important things to consider when choosing clothes is your body shape. Knowing your body shape can help you choose clothes that flatter your figure and enhance your best features. For example, if you have an hourglass figure, you can opt for clothes that accentuate your waistline, such as a wrap dress or a belted coat. If you have a pear-shaped body, you can go for A-line skirts and dresses if you want to balance out your figure.

When it comes to fashion, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. It is essential to embrace your personal style and wear clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable. Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles and colours to find what works for you. If you prefer a classic and timeless look, opt for neutral tones and clean silhouettes. If you love to make a statement, choose bold prints and bright colours.

Another essential tip for choosing clothes is to make sure they fit you well. Ill-fitting clothes can make you feel uncomfortable. Always try on clothes before you buy them, and keep in mind that you can always get them altered. Most importantly, ignore the size!! If something doesn't fit well, don't be afraid to go up a size; women's clothing brands can differ wildly. Always remember, clothes are designed to fit our bodies, not the other way round!
